Faculty & Mentorship

Learning from Practitioners, Not Just Professors

AEBS courses are taught exclusively by practitioners — professionals with active careers in the oil and gas industry across Africa. Our faculty bring direct experience from upstream exploration, midstream infrastructure, downstream retail, commodity trading, regulatory bodies, and international finance.

The optional Mentorship Add-on ($150 per programme) connects you with a dedicated senior practitioner in your area of study for the full duration. Mentors provide personalised guidance on assignments, capstone projects, and career decisions — and often facilitate direct introductions within their networks.

"The most valuable learning happens when someone who is active in the industry explains why theory diverges from practice. That is precisely what AEBS is built on."

— AEBS Academic Director
